our weekend in photos!

lately there's been a lot of tag team parenting and very little family time, so this weekend together was much needed! my parents came into town and were the first guests to stay in pinkie (our vintage trailer parked in the driveway. yay for no HOA!)

saturday we ventured to lockhart to see my dad play a few songs at texas hatters. so we watched his set, tried on some hats and then went to Kreutz for BBQ.

note the black choker on lope. yep. that's from a high school prom. she refused to take it off.

sunday we swam at barton springs on the free side, you know, where all of the dogs pee. in the evening matt and i took penelope to billy reid for a little party. penelope loved it! she ran around, ate ice from the cooler, and when i asked if she is a party girl, she said "yesch! party!" she gets that from her dad.
